A low sided version of the classic prospector 15, ideal for lesser grades of whitewater and less prone to windage.
Do you paddle in calm water (class I or II) mainly solo, but do you sometimes take a partner? The Huron 15 is for you! Extremely light, you will easily load and unload it from your vehicle; on the water, it will gain speed at the first stroke of the paddle; low enough on the water, it has little wind resistance and will allow you to keep your course without difficulty, even solo.
Moderately winded, it allows you to easily change direction on small rivers, or easily perform stops and recoveries.
The Huron 15 can also be used in canoe-camping, either solo or duo; in the latter case, the maximum desirable weight of the luggage will depend on the weight of the paddlers…
Its T-Formex construction ensures excellent strength; the wooden gunwale option will make its hull even more rigid and easier to handle.
