A low sided version of the classic prospector 16, ideal for lesser grades of whitewater and less prone to windage.
Do you paddle in calm water (class I or II) solo and duo? Would you like to use your canoe in canoe-camping without too much weight limitation? Choose the Huron 16! Very light, you will load and unload it without difficulty from your vehicle; on water, its length makes it even faster than the Huron 15; it will gain speed at the first stroke of the paddle and you will advance effortlessly; low enough on the water, it has little wind resistance and will allow you to keep your course without difficulty, even solo.
Moderately rotated, it turns easily, while being sufficiently directing.
